Here's a short description of how Hypnotic EFT works. The idea behind EFT is to smooth out disruptions in the body's energy field in relationship to negative emotional feelings and/or patterns by first visualizing the event or circumstance to bring up the emotional disruption, and then tapping the various energy field endpoints to smooth out that same disruption. Once the disruption has been smoothed out, the negative feelings are gone and rarely return. Studies have shown that EFT has a remarkable record of success in dealing with emotional issues.

After a short introduction, the EFT sequence will begin. Please read the instructions listed below and memorize the ten energy field endpoints as you go through the instructions.
First Step. Create an Acceptance Statement that describes your specific issue. Keep it short and simple and to the point. Here are some examples: I am terribly shy around women; I am afraid of flying; My boss stresses me out; etc. Each of these examples are short, descriptive statements about a specific issue.
Second Step. Create a Full Acceptance Statement. To create a full acceptance statement, you begin with the phrase "Even though..." followed by your acceptance statement, which is then followed by the phrase, "...I love and accept myself completely. " So, if your acceptance statement is "I am terribly shy around women," your full acceptance statement would be, "Even though I am terribly shy around women, I love and accept myself completely."

Third Step. Visualization. After the introduction section of the Hypnotic EFT mp3, you'll be asked to visualize the event or circumstance that brings up the negative emotional feeling you've chosen to work with. Allow the feeling to come up for you as strongly as you can.
Fourth Step. Keeping your event or issue in mind, you'll be asked to tap the Karate Chop endpoint as you repeat your Full Acceptance Statement. The only time you will be asked to repeat your full acceptance statement is when you are tapping the karate chop end point (which will happen twice).
Fifth Step. Again, as you keep your issue in mind, you'll be asked to tap the remaining nine energy field endpoints as you repeat your Acceptance Statement. The liver point isn't used in the Hypnotic EFT mp3 because of the difficulty involved for women in locating and tapping that point. Also, it's not generally needed for most issues. However, if you're practicing EFT without using the mp3, you can include the liver point in your practice. I also prefer using two fingers while I'm tapping (index finger and middle finger) except for the Top of the Head, the Collarbone, and the Below the Armpit endpoints (where, like Rod, I use the tips of four fingers).
Sixth Step. After you've gone through the first round of Hypnotic EFT, you will be given instructions for a simple eye movement technique exercise whish is designed to synchronize both hemispheres of your brain.
Seventh Step. You'll go through a second round of the EFT procedure.
After the Touch and Massage EFT procedure is finished, you'll begin the hypnosis section of the mp3. Simply follow the instructions and suggestions given to you.
The EFT portion of this mp3 is easy to learn and, once learned, can be used without necessarily having to use the mp3. It only takes a couple minutes to do EFT on your own. I often do EFT before I listen to hypnosis recordings to give myself the best opportunity to have success with any personal issue I'm dealing with. While this mp3 can be a great tool to help deal with negative emotional feelings and patterns, this mp3 is not designed to deal with traumatic-based issues. Traumatic issues are always best handled with the help of a qualified therapist or doctor.
