There are plenty of hypnosis and hypnotherapy sites on the web these days with lots of information on hypnosis. But if you want more than a passing understanding of hypnosis or want to become a hypnotherapist, then finding a good hypnotherapy school which offers certification is important.
The best hypnotherapy schools usually offer certification from one of the better known and respected hypnosis organizations out there. In the United States, some of the better known hypnosis organizations include the NGH (National Guild of Hypnotists, ACHE (American Council of Hypnotist Examiners), and the AHA (American Hypnosis Association). And there are, of course, others.
At the end of your training, you have to pass a test (usually created by the hypnosis organization) in order to receive certification from that organization. |
