Sell Your Home Self-Hypnosis Script

Right after we put our home on the market, I dusted off my old self-hypnosis script “Sell Your Home.” I practiced some self-hypnosis a couple times during the week using the script and on Friday of that week our buyers showed up. Now, I have to admit our home showed really well and was priced right. But remember, this isn’t the best market for selling homes right now. Also, I had a lot of confidence before I ever practiced the self-hypnosis that our home would sell and sell quickly. But I’m going to give the script some credit here because I’ve used it twice and both times buyers for the homes showed up quite promptly.

Whenever you want to create something for yourself, selling a home or whatever, your confidence and energy are key ingredients to successfully creating whatever it is you want to create. Of course, while you don’t always need self-hypnosis to create successfully, it doesn’t hurt either.

Waking Self-Hypnosis

We all do it. We’re all practicing self-hypnosis as we walk around in our awake state. Every thought you entertain is an auto-suggestion. Some thoughts are more powerful than others. It all depends on the energy you have in relationship to your thoughts and the clarity of your intention; well, that’s if you have any real intention where your thoughts are concerned. One of the more powerful ways we hypnotize ourselves is by repetition. A repeated thought has much more power than a random thought. Did you know that 90-95% of the thoughts you have today are the same thoughts you had yesterday, and the day before, and the day before that. So you’re already practicing self-hypnosis in a powerful way. Here’s an example of how our waking, self-hypnotizing works.

Today, I may be thinking about that new computer I want. But how am I thinking about it? Am I focusing on the fact that I don’t have the computer. Is my energy low and weak when I have the thought that I don’t have the computer. Or am I determined that that computer is mine. Is my energy strong in relationship to my thoughts about having the new computer. If I feel weak and disempowered in my thoughts and repeat that same energy and those same negative thoughts day in and day out, I’m not likely to see that computer any time soon. But if my thoughts and energy are strong, clear, and persistent, I’ll find a way to get that computer–especially when I repeat those positive thoughts and energy.

In a normal hypnosis or self-hypnosis setting, you become relaxed and focus your mind on what you want to create or change. But you can do the same thing with waking hypnosis. You can teach yourself to have positive and powerful thoughts in relationship to the things you’d like to create for yourself. The most important aspect to becoming effective with waking self-hypnosis is to learn to monitor your thoughts and feelings. Becoming self aware is absolutely critical to your success with waking hypnosis. Spend a day focusing on watching your thoughts and your feelings. You’ll be amazed at what you’ll learn about yourself. Like the rest of us, you’re already practicing waking self-hypnosis; so, there’s no reason not to become the best waking self-hypnotist you possibly can.

Hypnosis-Related New Year’s Resolution

So, how am I doing on my New Year’s resolution to create 18 new hypnosis mp3s for my website this year?  Well, I’ve finished my first script for the year.  This self-hypnosis mp3 is entitled “Morning Day Planner and Energy Booster.”  This is one I’ll use from time to time when I want to get a lot accomplished on a specific day or have a specific task I’d like to get done that day.  I believe this is going to be a very effective self-hypnosis session.  In it, you get to visualize what you’ll be doing that day and see yourself successfully accomplishing what it is you’ve set out to do.

I expect to be recording this hypnotherapy session some time in February.  I also have three other scripts I’ve finished from last year that I’ve yet to record.  One is a self-hypnosis induction entitled, “Incredibly Relaxed”; another deals with insomnia; and the third deals with ending nail-biting.  The insomnia and nail-biting sessions are going to be what I call Energy Alignment Self-Hypnosis mp3s.  These sessions will combine a form of energy alignment (I’ll discuss this in detail in a later post) with self-hypnosis to form a very powerful tool for self-improvement.  The Energy Alignment Self-Hypnosis mp3s likely won’t be up till around April or May since I have to write a new section for the website and film a short video before I can put up the mp3s on the site.  Anyway, I’m making progress and expect to have a great and successful year.

How to Hypnotize Someone

Arthur King has written an article on “How to Hypnotize Someone” over at ezinearticles.com.  In his article, he talks about the use of Ericksonian techniques in learning how to hypnotize someone through everyday conversations.  This technique, called “conversational hypnosis,” was developed by Milton Erickson.  With conversational hypnosis, you can learn how to interject suggestions within your conversation that are directed to your subconscious mind.
